Tips And Tricks For Blueberry Picking
The ripeness of blueberries is when they’re entirely dark blue. The part around the stem gets darker, so pick only the blue ones at the bottom.
If the berries appear slightly colored red on the stem, they are fine but only a bit tart.
If you own an empty coffee or bucket with a rope attached, put it on your neck and allow the fruit to fall into the container when you select it (much more quickly).
Most of the time, some berries are delicious in the middle of the plant and the lower and ideal for little ones!
After Picking Blueberry From The Farms
Be sure to wash your blueberries only when ready to eat them. They are more susceptible to spoilage. If you want to pass them in small batches, it is recommended to fill an enormous bowl with water and add vinegar.
The blueberries should be tossed around in the vinegar. Dilute the water, drain them and wash them with water.
Freeze your blueberries: It’s best to freeze them without washing them, so they don’t get frozen (or ensure that you allow them to dry completely when you decide to wash them). Please put them in an airtight bag and then place them in the freezer. Blueberries can last throughout the winter months in the freezer!
